Silk Road Webquest
Hello my name is Polo Me Polo. I have ran out of silk. I will be traveling the Silk Road route to look for more. I have over 10,000 dollars so that I can buy the silk.
April,29 1492
Chang'ang
My first stop will be in Chang'an. It is located at 33 north and 107 east in the southern part of GuanZhory Plain in Shaanxi province with Qining. I stopped at the Bell Tower that marks the start of the Silk Road. Where I bought a horse and two pounds of silk, from a dealer it cost 100 dollars so I pulled out two racks and bought it. Then I got chases by some karate kids. They beat me up and stole 500 dollars but none of my silk.
May,3 1492
Next I stopped in Samarkand. Were I bought 3 pounds of silk. From an old lady who I fell in love with at first sight. I asked her if she wanted to get married ,and she said yes. So we left and went to sleep in a small house.
June 2, 1492
Now I am in Kashgar. Were I bought some silk from this man standing in a store. He had all kinds of silk. I bought 10 pounds for 200 dollars. He was satisfied with the money. I bought two more horses from this little kid who looked tired to make the journey faster. Then I took him to a small house to sleep.
July 19, 1492
Finally I am in Istanbul. It was really beautiful. I ate some food called Pando Amca it was really good. It taste like eggs. I bought 20 pounds of silk from a lady sitting in a chair for 500 dollars. It was a nice city
August 5, 1492
I have made it home from my long journey. I have married a beutiful lady and have had two kids ,and my stock is full. Im back in busniess. This is my wife Synth This is Chang'an This is Samarkand
